Mi lindo Rio Grande, El Mexicotejano [COBEST], 1979
Folder with two (2) interior pockets, containing (1) 45 rpm vinyl record in a sleeve and (11) typed pages of teacher curriculum for "syllabication".
The Spanish songs on this recording originate from the Mexican American tradition in Texas. Lyrics are provided in both English and Spanish, and an activity sheet suggests ways of using the songs in the classroom. A quiz, also available in both languages, asks the students to divide selected words into syllables.
