Content Description Land application form filled out by Jose Luis Chirino for new citizens of the Republic of Texas. Chirino had to swear that he was a citizen of Texas at the date of independence, did not leave the State or refuse to participate in the revolution, and did not give assistance to the enemy. Chirino applied for 1/3 of a league of land in Nacogdoches County.
