Vidal Falcon was born in Rancho Puertecitas, Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 28, 1887. They discuss old Spanish customs on asking a girl's parents for their daughter's hand in marriage. The intended groom was to sit in a committee of two or three men.

Interview conducted in April 1969 in Houston, Texas by Leonarda Falcon Cardenas, daughter of Vidal Falcon.
