Holly Hewlett research collection on La Casita Farms Strike
The collection contains research material compiled by Holly Hewlett, pertaining to the 1966 La Casita Farms worker strike as well as the involvement of Archbishop Robert E. Lucey of San Antonio and the Catholic Church. The collection consists primarily of photocopies of newspaper articles, photocopies of records and correspondence, three oral history interviews on cassette tape, and Hewlett’s honors thesis presentation.

Keep Families Together Protest Collection
This collection consists of posters, digital images, and a video file from the Keep Families Together (also referred to as Families Belong Together) protest held in McAllen, Texas on June 30, 2018. These protests were part nationwide event organized to demand the Trump administration reunite families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border. This local protest was organized by Jose Oscar Lopez and Sara Vann.

Leo J. Leo, Sr. Collection
Leo J. Leo (1917-1981) was a long-time power in Democratic Party politics in Hidalgo County. He was elected mayor of La Joya in 1965 and served for 14 consecutive years before retiring in 1979. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence, official business documents from offices held, voting poll lists, and newsclips.
Leonard Greenwalt Collection
These 12 photographs picture the aftermath of the Dachau and Nordhausen concentration camps. They were taken by an American G.I. after the liberation in April 1945.
