Henry K. Beard Papers
Scope and Contents
The Henry K. Beard Papers contain material related to Beard’s work as an organ designer. The ntire collection consists of almost entirely of organ plans and architectural blueprints, although there are some photos and a brochure about the M.P. Möller Company. Beard designed organs for many notable places including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, West Point Cadet Chapel, and the Moody Bible Institute. Most of his work was done in midwest states like Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The majority of blueprint plans are from M. P. Möller.
