Scope and Contents
The collection includes historical photographs of people, places, and events from locations across the Lower Rio Grande Valley, including but not limited to Brownsville, San Benito, Harlingen, Mercedes, Mission, and Rio Grande City. Photographs are in a variety of formats, including aerial, postcards, silver gelatin, etc.

Physical Description
Black and white photograph (slightly damaged) depicting cactus in the foreground. The streets in the background are lined with cars and buildings, including a store front for Powell's Hardware and the side of Mansur's Dry Goods. Advertisement for Frank T. Philips also features prominently. Possibly image of early San Benito, as back of photograph is stamped "Harry Foehner, San Benito, Texas".
