Scope and Contents
This folder documents the lynching of General Pascual Orozco, a Mexican leader during the Mexican Revolution, and some of his companions by Anglo vigilantes in Culbertson County. The killings documented herein correspond temporally to the massacre of hundreds if not thousands of ethnic Mexicans in Cameron and Hidalgo Counties in the summer and fall of 1915.
