McAllen - Fairway Motor Hotel
Scope and Contents
Folder contains color and black and white photographs of various sizes of the Fairway Motor Hotel. Images include Polaroid images of roadside signs, poolside guests, gathering on the lawn, hotel dining and guest room interiors, guests checking in, and more.
Three photographs appear to show former Texas Governor Allan Shivers, including two images of him speaking at a podium with microphones for NBC KRGV.
Some photographs are stamped "KRGV Weslaco, Texas" on the back and a single photograph is stamped on the back "Don Bartels, 510 N. 7th St., McAllen, Texas."
